Orunodoi 3.0 Assam List 2026: Don’t Miss Checking Your Beneficiary Status

Orunodoi 3.0 Assam List 2026

The Government of Assam Has Expanded Orunodoi 3.0 to Cover 38 Lakh Families With a Monthly Cash Transfer of ₹1,250 Plus ₹250 LPG Subsidy From January 2026 Disbursed Via Direct Bank Transfer After Aadhaar Seeding, With No Public PDF List and Confirmation Delivered Only Through the Chief Minister’s Letter…

The Orunodoi 3.0 Assam List 2026 works differently from every previous phase of the scheme and thousands of families who expect to find a downloadable PDF list online are missing the only official confirmation method the government actually uses. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced on August 1, 2025 that 38 lakh families would receive inclusion under Orunodoi 3.0, simultaneously confirming that the government will not publish a separate online PDF list this time. Instead, every selected beneficiary receives a personal letter from the Chief Minister, physically delivered by Panchayat representatives or officials from the Deputy Commissioner’s office.

About Orunodoi 3.0

The Assam government launched the original Orunodoi scheme in 2020 as a direct cash transfer initiative targeting women from economically weaker households providing monthly financial support to cover basic needs including healthcare, nutrition, pulses, and essential household items. The scheme has expanded significantly through successive phases: Orunodoi 1.0 covered around 17 lakh households, while the 3.0 upgrade nearly doubles that reach to 38 lakh families across the state.

Monthly financial assistance increased from ₹830 under earlier phases to ₹1,250 per month from October 2025 onwards, credited directly into the beneficiary woman’s Aadhaar-linked bank account every month. From January 2026, the government added a ₹250 monthly LPG subsidy under the Mukhyamantri Sulabh Indhan Asoni scheme on top of the base amount bringing the total monthly credit for Orunodoi 3.0 beneficiaries to ₹1,500 per month.

Full Eligibility: Every Condition You Must Meet

The Assam government designed Orunodoi 3.0 specifically around women from economically weaker sections enrolled under the National Food Security Act (NFSA). Every condition below must apply simultaneously for a household to qualify:

  • Must be a permanent resident of Assam living within the area covered by the scheme
  • Primary beneficiary must be an adult woman from the household — the scheme credits the woman’s account, not a male family member’s
  • Annual family income must remain below ₹2 lakh
  • Must hold a valid Aadhaar-seeded Ration Card under NFSA
  • Priority groups receive first consideration: widows, unmarried women aged 45 and above, divorced or deserted women, transgender individuals, Divyangjan (disabled) individuals, women suffering from HIV, Thalassemia, Haemophilia, Cerebral Palsy, Leprosy, or Autism, and women who are destitute or living without shelter

Who Faces Immediate Disqualification

The government enforces strict exclusion conditions to ensure benefits reach only genuinely vulnerable families:

  • Households of MPs, MLAs, CEMs, EMs, or their former counterparts
  • Members of Panchayati Raj bodies, Urban Local Bodies, or Autonomous Councils
  • Professionals including doctors, engineers, architects, chartered accountants, lawyers, bankers, teachers, government employees, or pensioners
  • Income tax payers, trade license holders, government contractors, builders, or industrialists
  • Families that own a motorized four-wheeler
  • Non-marginal landholders and families exceeding NFSA income limits
  • Beneficiaries already enrolled in similar cash transfer schemes like Orunodoi Plus

How to Check Your Orunodoi 3.0 Status in 2026

Since no single downloadable PDF list is publicly available, eligible families must use the official digital portal or offline channels to verify their status. Follow these steps to check online:

  1. Visit the official Assam government portal: assam.gov.in
  2. Navigate to “Schemes” and select “Orunodoi” from the scheme list
  3. Click on “View List” or “Beneficiary List” option
  4. Select your District → Block/Municipality → Village/Gram Panchayat from the dropdown filters
  5. Enter your Application Reference Number (ARN) or registered mobile number in the search field
  6. Click “Submit” — your beneficiary status and payment history display on screen

Alternatively, visit the dedicated Orunodoi scheme portal at finance.assam.gov.in/portlets/orunodoi-30 and follow the same filter-based navigation.

CM Letter Official Confirmation

The Chief Minister’s letter serves as the formal confirmation of Orunodoi 3.0 inclusion and replaces the PDF beneficiary list that previous phases used. Panchayat representatives and DC office officials physically deliver these letters to each selected household making your local Gram Panchayat office the first point of contact if you believe you qualify but have not received any communication.

If your letter has not arrived and your portal status shows no record, reports suggest visiting your Circle Office or local Gaon Panchayat with your Aadhaar card and NFSA ration card for manual verification of your application status. The scheme mandates offline verification at three levels Gaon Panchayat, Urban Local Body, and Block/District level before any beneficiary’s account activates for monthly credits.

Payment Schedule and DBT Process

The first Orunodoi 3.0 payment reached beneficiary accounts on October 7, 2025, following two schedule revisions from the originally announced September dates. From that date, ₹1,250 credits to the registered bank account monthly.

From January 2026, the government added the ₹250 LPG subsidy automatically no separate application is needed. Orunodoi 3.0 introduced automatic Aadhaar seeding for all new beneficiaries, meaning the government links every account to Aadhaar during enrollment rather than requiring families to initiate the seeding themselves at a bank branch.
