Anupama then gets a call from Rajini, who wants to meet. When Rajini arrives, Anupama is surprised to see Varun with her. Varun explains that Sarita sent him with vada pav. Anupama asks Varun to assist Bharti while she goes out with Rajini. Varun glances at Bharti with a knowing smile.
At the Shah house, Hasmuk, Kinjal, and Leela are stunned when Paritosh and Pakhi show up. The siblings inform everyone about an interview, saying Ishani and Pari have become celebrities and the media wants to talk to them. Paritosh and Pakhi take complete credit for the girls’ success and don’t mention Anupama at all. Kinjal comments that Anupama should now see who truly supports her in Mumbai and who doesn’t.
Rajini thanks Anupama for joining her on a Christmas shopping trip. Anupama helps pick out items. Secretly, Rajini plans to use this time to find out more about the Kothari family and wonders if Anupama knows about an upcoming business deal. Prathana then calls Anupama and insists she must come to her baby shower. She threatens to cancel the celebration if Anupama and the Shah family don’t attend. When Rajini asks what’s wrong, Anupama tells her everything. Rajini realizes the Kotharis don’t like Anupama.
Back home, Varun notices Bharti looks exhausted and asks what’s wrong. Bharti mentions she’s been fasting and suddenly faints. Varun quickly helps her and gives her water. When Anupama asks what happened, Varun explains the situation. Both Sarita and Anupama are impressed to find that Varun has washed all the dishes. Varun manages to win Anupama’s approval. Sarita says that thanks to Anupama’s influence, Varun is changing for the better. Anupama praises Rajini for raising him well without taking any credit herself. Preet jokes about Bharti and Varun, which annoys Bharti.
Meanwhile, Vasundhara feels worried after learning Parag traveled to Mumbai by himself. She questions Gautam about why he didn’t go with him. Gautam asks if Parag and Rajini know each other. Vasundhara says no, but Gautam suspects there may be a past connection between them.
Later, Anupama prays quietly. Varun helps Bharti again, and Anupama decides to visit Rajini. When Anupama reaches Rajini’s house, she finds Rajini and Parag talking together. Parag discovers that Anupama is Rajini’s friend. Anupama and Parag see each other face to face.
Both Rajini and Parag look shocked when they spot Anupama. Anupama remembers her past history with Parag.
