The episode begins with Mishti taunting Jhanak at college. Mishti claims Jhanak is only free because Aniruddh withdrew the case, not because she is innocent. Jhanak argues that Mishti has changed ever since Jhanak started scoring better marks.
Jhanak points out a major detail: Mishti’s fingerprints were also found on the bag. However, Jhanak explains that no one suspects Mishti because she is wealthy. Ayush defends Jhanak and asks the group to stop their insults. Jhanak tells Ayush she does not want to waste time on these arguments and walks away.
Academic Success and Rejected Love
While they are alone, Ayush tells Jhanak that he loves her and wants to protect her. Consequently, Jhanak clarifies her feelings. She explains that she is married to Rishi and loves him. She tells Ayush that she values him as a good friend, but nothing more.
Later, in class, the professor announces the exam results. Jhanak receives high praise for her performance despite her personal struggles.

Wedding Plans and Secret Plots
Meanwhile, Sanjhbati’s family changes their mind and agrees to her marriage with Dritimaan. Dritimaan promises to support Sanjhbati’s dreams and make up for his past mistakes. The families celebrate with sweets and music.
In Simulboni, Parashar is recovering from his illness. Veer and Dhamu discuss a secret plan. They reveal that they planted clothes near three dead bodies found by the river. They did this to trick people into believing certain people are dead. Therefore, the plot to protect their secrets continues.
Family Tension Increases
The next day, Dritimaan’s parents start planning the wedding date. Dritimaan warns Aditi to tell Aniruddh to stop interfering in family matters.
The tension grows when Dadabhai gives Jhanak money to buy sweets because of her high marks. This makes Mishti’s supporters angry. They feel that celebrating Jhanak is an insult to Mishti.
Precap: The Real Culprit
In the next episode, Dritimaan asks Aditi why she doesn’t feel bad for Jhanak after the false police report. Aditi argues that they still do not know who is guilty. However, Rishi steps in and claims he has information about the real culprit.
