The episode begins with Tanushri telling Rishi that he lost his character because of Jhanak. Jhanak is trying to prove she can take Aditi’s place in this house. She says Jhanak is selfish and greedy. Jhanak knows how to break into houses only. Jhanak says she’s not like that. Aditi wouldn’t have become the daughter-in-law of this house if she didn’t sign the document then. She asks whether she demanded anything from them. She’s poor, but that doesn’t mean they can accuse her like this. Rishi asks her to calm down. He promises to support her always. He tells her to focus on her fight only.
The next day, Sanjhbati asks why Jhanak hasn’t gone to college yet. Jhanak replies she has time to reach college. Dadabhai says Neelu gives so much work to Jhanak. Neelu says she didn’t get a maid there. Dadabhai asks her why she’s forgetting Jhanak is a student. Why doesn’t anyone tell Mishti to do work? Jhanak asks him to drop it. Neelu tells Dadabhai that Mishti is her sister. Dritimaan asks Neelu to be sensible. He says Dadabhai is right. Indumati asks him not to talk like his father.
Abhimanyu says Jhanak came as a maid and now wants to become queen. Jhanak asks why she’s getting blamed for Rishi and Aditi’s issue. Why do they judge her and Nutan? She says she knows who Nutan was, so she won’t tolerate her mother’s insults. Rishi arrives and tells Tanushri he’s hungry. Dadabhai gives the letter to Rishi, saying it came for Jhanak. Rishi says it’s a court notice for all three cases—fire accidents, DNA tests, and signature fraud.
Abhimanyu tells Rishi he won’t let Aniruddh live peacefully. Indumati asks Rishi to admit he doesn’t want to live with Aditi, which is why he’s supporting Jhanak. Rishi says he’s supporting the truth, that’s it. Sanjhbati defends Jhanak. Neelu asks why Sanjhbati is supporting Jhanak. Sanjhbati says she can understand what’s right and what’s wrong. That’s why she chose the right path. Neelu asks since when it became right to blame a respected person like Aniruddh. Dritimaan asks how they can decide that. Let the court decide. He says if Jhanak is wrong, then she’ll be punished. He adds if Jhanak was forced to sign documents when she was hospitalized, then that was inhumane.
Indumati says that was a forced marriage, and even Rishi didn’t accept that marriage. That’s why Rishi brought Jhanak there as a maid. Tanushri says they didn’t think Jhanak would try to break Aditi and Rishi’s marriage. She tells Rishi that Jhanak is ruining his married life with Aditi. Jhanak says she doesn’t want to stay there. She requests Rishi to let her go because she’s facing so many insults. She also has self-respect. She tells Rishi it’s her fight, so she’ll fight it her way.
Dadabhai tells her she won’t go anywhere. He says Jhanak will stay there and fight for her rights. Rishi agrees with Dadabhai. He tells Jhanak to stop doing household chores. Tanushri asks him how he’ll decide that too. Rishi tells her it’s affecting Jhanak’s studies, that’s why. Abhimanyu asks whether Jhanak will stay in the house freely. Jhanak says she’ll stay there and do work.
On the other side, Aniruddh shows the court notice to Aditi. Arshi says it’s a gift from Rishi. She won’t spare Rishi. Aditi tells them to do whatever they want. Arshi says Aniruddh hired a reputable lawyer. But Jhanak doesn’t have money to hire a lawyer. Aniruddh says he doesn’t regret his actions. Jhanak is playing the victim card. Arshi says Jhanak became brave because of Rishi. Aditi says that’s why she left Rishi’s house. Aniruddh thinks the caterer team leader won’t tell the truth in court. Aditi asks what evidence Rishi has against them. Aniruddh says he’s not scared of Jhanak.
Arshi tells him that Rishi is a police officer and has police connections. So Rishi can influence the court. Aniruddh says his lawyer will handle everything. Aditi asks when they should go to court. Aniruddh replies it’s tomorrow. Aditi says Jhanak is dangerous. Her life got ruined because of Jhanak. Arshi tells Aditi that nothing got ruined. She blames Aniruddh for everything. Aniruddh asks what wrong he did. Arshi says Aniruddh did wrong by loving Nutan. Aniruddh says he has to defeat Jhanak.
Rishi asks Jhanak to come because they have to hire a lawyer. Abhimanyu mocks Rishi. Rishi says Jhanak can’t win the case without a lawyer. Jhanak asks him whether she can’t fight in court. Rishi tells her she can’t win against Aniruddh’s lawyer. Tanushri says she doesn’t think Aniruddh did anything wrong. Jhanak is lying. Rishi tells her they shouldn’t trust anyone blindly. Tanushri tells him that’s what she’s also saying. Jhanak is telling stories, so she’ll be proved a liar in court. Rishi says let the court decide that. Abhimanyu says Jhanak can’t win against Aniruddh. Rishi tells Abhimanyu that truth will win. Jhanak cries.
Neelu mocks Jhanak for crying. Jhanak says Neelu can’t understand her. It’s not easy to fight against your own father. She says her pain is deep because her own father refused to accept her. Dadabhai hugs Jhanak.
