Ravneet Singh Bittu, born September 10, 1975, is a 50-year-old Indian politician currently serving as Union Minister of State for Railways and Food Processing Industries in the Modi 3.0 cabinet since June 2024. The Ludhiana-born leader is the grandson of former Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh, who was assassinated in 1995, and has served as a Member of Parliament three times. After switching from Indian National Congress to Bharatiya Janata Party in March 2024, Bittu was appointed to his current ministerial positions despite losing the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
