Shanidev’s Difficult Choice
The episode begins with Devi Parvati. She asks Mahadev why Shanidev accepted defeat. Kartikeya also wonders why Shanidev did not choose to fight. Mahadev explains that Shanidev chose duty over war. Shanidev went to Raavan to face punishment for a past mistake called “Guru droh.”
In a flashback, Shanidev asks Mahadev for permission to leave. Mahadev warns him that Raavan intends to imprison him. However, Shanidev accepts this fate. He believes he must pay for his mistake, even though Mahadev has already forgiven him. Shanidev feels he cannot forgive himself. Therefore, he decides to use this chance to cast his “vakra drishti” (crooked gaze) on Raavan.
Mahadev Explains the Plan
In the present, Mahadev tells his family the full story. He asks if they understand Shanidev’s decision now. Devi Parvati says she understands. However, she worries about Raavan’s plan. She asks if it is right for Shanidev to surrender to such an evil person.
Mahadev explains that Shanidev is the god of karma (justice). He cannot run away from his own punishment. If he did, he could not punish others fairly. Mahadev assures Parvati that while Raavan has power, Shanidev has sacrifice. This situation will eventually lead to Raavan’s downfall.
Raavan Attacks the Planets
Meanwhile, Raavan mocks Shanidev. He boasts that he has already captured five planets. He plans to capture the remaining four. He then targets Suryadev (the Sun God). Raavan taunts Suryadev for not saving his son, Shanidev. He attacks Shanidev to provoke Suryadev. Mahadev watches this and shouts Raavan’s name in anger.
Soon, Suryadev arrives at Raavan’s palace. He demands that Raavan release the planets. Raavan challenges him. Suryadev tries to attack, but Raavan uses a trick. He forces Suryadev to almost attack Shanidev instead. Raavan uses the son to defeat the father.
Darkness Falls
Raavan orders Rahu to attack Suryadev. Rahu agrees and strikes. As a result, a solar eclipse begins, and darkness fills the world. Mahadev tells Parvati that Raavan’s plan is working. Raavan is becoming stronger.
Next, Raavan captures the planet Budha (Mercury). He then imprisons Suryadev as well. Now, Raavan plans to capture the last two planets, Brihaspati and Chandradev.

In the next episode, Raavan learns that his wife, Mandodari, is in labor. He orders the planets to stay in a specific position until his son is born. He wants his son to have an easy life. However, Mahadev tells Parvati that challenges are necessary for a person to grow.
