Farsa Wale Baba Death Sparks Clash, Highway Blocked in Mathura
The Farsa Wale Baba death sent shockwaves through Mathura and the broader Braj region on March 20, 2026, after prominent cow-protection saint Chandrasekhar popularly known as Farsa Wale Baba died in the Kosikalan area after an alleged vehicle belonging to cattle smugglers deliberately ran over his motorcycle near Navipur village in the early morning hours. The incident triggered an immediate and furious response from hundreds of Gau Rakshaks who blocked the Delhi-Agra National Highway at Chhata, bringing traffic to a complete standstill, with long queues of trucks and other vehicles stretching for kilometres on one of India’s busiest highway stretches.
